ARTIST STATEMENT:

Women: Action Figures explores the many roles women play in life.  Women multi-task as caretaker and philosopher; they perform supportive tasks for their families while maintaining the spiritual base for themselves and others.  They are in constant action but recognize the beauty and peace in the world as well.  In short, women maintain a sort of super-hero lifestyle.
