ARTIST STATEMENT:

"This series explores the past with a photo-album memory of my youth.  Memory can conjure vague images that lack in background detail, but exist as mental pictures that are as clear now as they were then.  Some memories are actually wishes that never happened, but that is part of the past as much as the things that did happen.  Working on this series has been a time of self-exploration, not only of memory, but in terms of experimenting with painting techniques, composition and line."
